Why We Exist
Heat is one of the largest cost and emissions drivers in manufacturing — especially in industries like textile dyeing & finishing and tyre production.
Yet in most factories, heat inefficiencies are not caused by equipment failure, but by how production is planned and executed.
Across plants, we repeatedly see:
Uncoordinated machine and press planning
Steam demand spikes that destabilise boilers
Energy being consumed even when machines are idle
Manual, spreadsheet-driven workflows
The result is higher fuel bills, avoidable emissions, and constant operational firefighting.
We started ThermoTune to fix this gap — by addressing the demand side of industrial heat, where the fastest and most practical improvements can be made.
What We Do
ThermoTune builds AI-powered optimisation solutions designed specifically for heat-intensive manufacturing plants.
We help factories fix two deeply connected problems: inefficient production planning and wasted heat and energy. By improving how machines and presses are planned, sequenced, and operated, we increase yield and throughput while ensuring heat and steam are used only when and where they are needed.
Our work turns manual, reactive workflows into predictable, coordinated operations — reducing delays, smoothing energy demand, and improving day-to-day performance on the production floor.

Our Story
ThermoTune was founded by Nimantha Baranasuriya and Radershan Suguneswaran, together with the teams at IMI Venture Studio, Wright Partners, and MING Labs.
The company was launched in 2024 under the Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB)’s Corporate Venture Launchpad Programme, bringing together deep industrial, product, and venture-building expertise to tackle inefficiencies in industrial heat.
Today, ThermoTune works with manufacturing plants and ecosystem partners across Asia to improve operational efficiency, reduce fuel consumption, and deliver measurable emissions reduction — profitably.
